Yoga & Sound Bath
Yogasanada Is Happening Again!
After the successful events I ran so far this year, I will be coming back to where it all began, Greenwich Creekside, for 2 hours of yoga & sound.
We will start the session with a Yogasana sequence suitable for all levels apart from total beginners. No judgement about what you can or cannot do. The intention with this practice is always to connect with your body & your breath.
The second half will be an extended savasana, when I will guide you into a state of deep relaxation using traditional instruments including Tibetan singing bowls, gong & chimes, alongside the modern software/expressive instrument, Ableton Live & Push, amplified through my soundsystem.
What Does Yogasanada Mean?
Yoga was defined by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutra as an altered state of consciousness in which thoughts begin to slow down.
Nada, the yoga of sound, is a method to get there.
What To Expect?
The important thing to remember in a sound bath is that you don’t have to do anything. We have enough bolsters & blankets in the studio to make you all very comfortable so that you can relax fully and allow the sounds to immerse you. Please bring something to cover your eyes to allow a deeper connection.
