Oneness Through Sound
Oneness is not something that we create. It is something that we remember.
Through breath & movement, stillness & sound, we reveal the subtle layers of ourselves: body, mind & awareness. As we soften into these layers, the idea of separation dissolves.
In honour of Earth Day, this event will be themed around the concept of the koshas (the layers of human existence), and the pancha mahabhutas (the five elements): Earth (prithvi), Water (apas), Fire (agni), Air (vayu) & Ether (akasha).
As we move through the outer layers of physicality towards the more subtle, something shifts. We notice that the boundary between each layer is permeable. As we allow these boundaries to dissolve, ekatva (oneness) is recognised.

What Am I?
I set myself an intention last year; to become what I am.
A musician.
I’ve held a deep reverence for music for as long as I can remember. Music has been a spiritual practice for me for much longer than I even knew what spirituality was. I worshipped at the alters of metal, punk & techno music. Ambient music is usually the soundtrack to the morning after the night before.
I have played around with sound, music, noise for a long time. I’ve collected music since the 1980s, DJ’d since the 1990s, exploring many genres & eras of music.
I then started playing, using computers, drum machines, samplers, synthesisers & sequencers. I always felt that imposter syndrome though. I have rejected the label “musician” for so many years because I didn’t feel that I was enough.
If yoga has taught me anything, it is that you can be whatever you want.
