Thailand is known as the “Land Of Smiles” for good reason. The people of this country are warm, hospitable & very friendly, it is built into their culture. If you’ve ever spent any time in Thailand, you might understand why.
Our Venue
“Where the jungle meets the sea.”
The Sanctuary is located on the shores of Haad Tien beach, which is only accessible by boat taxi or a very challenging jungle hike. It is the premier wellness hub in Koh Phangan.
Raving, I’m Raving
Koh Phangan is the home of the famous Full Moon Party, which takes place on Haad Rin. If you’d like to attend that, which I intend to, the Full Moon will happen during the week before the retreat starts.
There is another party, Eden, which usually happens on Saturday nights on Whynam Beach which is a 15 minute walk from our venue. Our retreat will begin on Saturday so this will set the scene. Expect a more underground feel & fire circle. Please note that this party is not audible from the retreat venue, so if you’d rather stay away, you will not be disturbed.
FYI Another venue, Guys Bar, is nearby, which runs occasional parties. This may be audible from the venue but the party is infrequent & so we may not encounter that.
The Local Area
Lanehead is located about a mile away from the village of Coniston.
The property overlooks Lake Coniston which is suitable for cold water swimming.
Incredibly beautiful, dramatic scenery, mountains, valleys, lakes and forests to explore.
What To Expect?
Yoga at least once per day.
Sound baths.
Hiking in the beautiful surrounding trails.
Cold water swimming in Lake Coniston, a short walk away.
An optional kayaking/watersports experience at extra cost.
Plenty of time for relaxation.
(Re)connection with nature, with your Self and with other likeminded people.
All meals included, prepared by a local chef using local, seasonal ingredients.
Dogs allowed.
